Title: Medical Lab Scientist/ Technologist
Location:Irving, TX
Duration: 4+ Months (Possibility of Extension/ Temp to Hire)
Shift: Tue - Sat 6 am - 2:30pm

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist to perform laboratory tests, maintain accurate records, and ensure quality control while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Process specimens and perform analyses using approved testing procedures.
Release test results, ensuring compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
Maintain quality control records, document all testing activities, and follow corrective action protocols when necessary.
Report critical results, assist with customer inquiries, and ensure a clean and organized lab environment.
Participate in training and safety programs and assist with regulatory inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
Experience: 1+ year of clinical laboratory experience with high complexity testing (preferred).

Certifications: Certification is not required but should be Eligible for national certification (ASCP, AMT).
