In this role:

• You will use automated analyzers, microscopes, and other laboratory diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests that diagnose animal illnesses, injuries, and diseases in support of veterinary animal treatment.u202Fu202Fu202Fu202Fu00A0
• You will perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or pet biopsy samples that we receive in our lab by the thousands every day.u202Fu202Fu00A0
• You will set up and run lab tests, then read and release results according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

What you need to succeed:u00A0

• You possess a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.u00A0A 2-, 3- or 4-year degree in a Science-related field is preferred
• It is not required to work in our lab, but if you were a Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT)u202For Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT), this experience and education would be a plus
• Ideally, you will have experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment (microscopes, pipetting and / or clinical diagnostic analyzers)
• You have a skillset in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Urinalysis or Cytology. You are able to work with the analyzers that are used in these departments ie; Sysmex and Cellavision, Beckman, Immulite, Hamilton, Novus
• You have a positive attitude and love to bring that energy into the lab every day to support your colleaguesu00A0u00A0

• The schedule for this position is:u00A0 Monday- Friday
• The hours for this position are: 11:30pm- 8:00am
• This is a full time, 3rd shift position
• There will be a rotating Saturday shift (every 3rd Saturday)
• When you work a Saturday rotation, you will have a Wed or Thurs off
• The start date for this position will be during the time frame of December 15th- December 31st
• The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs.u00A0
