What Youll Do

Deliver an Outstanding Patient Experience

• Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and empathy.
• Create a positive first impression and provide exceptional customer service throughout each visit.
• Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, registration, insurance, and billing.

Verify Insurance Coverage & Support Revenue Cycle Success

• Accurately verify insurance eligibility and benefits before services are rendered.
• Review patient demographics and insurance information to prevent claim denials and billing errors.
• Ensure all required documentation is collected and entered correctly.

Explain insurance coverage

• Explain insurance, co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Collect patient payments and process transactions accurately.
• Help patients understand billing processes and available payment options.

Manage Front Desk Operations

• Schedule appointments and maintain patient flow.
• Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Support providers and clinical staff by ensuring administrative processes run smoothly.

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Patient Service Representative, Medical Administrative Assistant, or similar role in a healthcare setting.
• Experience verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance terminology.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and standard office technology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
