Medical Records Assistant

What You'll Do

Maintain and manage resident medical records

Ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant

Process admissions, discharges, and transfers

Scan, file, and organize documentation

Assist nursing staff and department leaders with record requests

Support audits and regulatory surveys

Protect resident privacy and uphold HIPAA standards

Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture
What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record systems
• Previous healthcare, medical records, or office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
