Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2350 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with indwelling drain removal and PICC line care/dressing changes required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: At least 1 travel contract completed preferred.

Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate required.

Unit Details: Ortho/Neuro unit. Patient ratio 1:6; 1:7 after 2300.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday rotation. Holiday grouping: 2026 holidays: 4th of July (NOC 7/3), Labor Day (NOC 9/6), Christmas Day (NOC 12/25), New Year’s Eve (NOC 12/31). No call. Set weekly hours do not apply during orientation week. Hours may be reduced during holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: May float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units as needed. Will be required to float to units and facilities based on census. Should not be asked to work outside clinical skills unless approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
