Role: Medical Technician- Ophthalmology

Duration: On going, long term (On demand support)

Location: Dallas, TX

We are seeking a Medical Technician with Ophthalmology expertise to support tele-ophthalmology services and patient care in Senior Care community living settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists with patient data entry, examinations, diagnostic testing, and clinical procedures.

• Perform ophthalmic tests and accurately document patient results.

• Visit community living locations such as assisted living and senior care facilities to provide on-site services.

• Prepare patients, equipment, and clinical documentation for examinations.

• Use of a software system

• Ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care during community visits.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Medical Technician, Ophthalmology Assistant, Ophthalmic Technician, or similar clinical role.

• Ophthalmology/eye-care experience preferred, ability to use portable devices

• Strong patient communication and organizational skills.

• Ability and willingness to travel to community living locations.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with ophthalmologists and clinical staff.

Preferred:

• Experience with online consultation support is a plus
