Job Overview
The Medical Technologist will support clinical laboratory operations in an onsite hospital setting in Atlanta, Georgia. This role requires strong technical expertise within the assigned specialty and the ability to work variable shifts while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and patient care.
This assignment is not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical laboratory testing within assigned specialty area.
Ensure accurate analysis, documentation, and reporting of test results.
Follow established laboratory procedures, quality control standards, and safety protocols.
Utilize laboratory instrumentation and information systems appropriately.
Comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements at all times.
Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to support patient diagnostics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty
Active certification in one of the following:
Must hold title of Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist
Ability to work variable schedules and onsite shifts
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Additional Requirements
Must meet facility credentialing and compliance standards
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
