Medical Technologist Lead

We are looking for a motivated individual who shares our passion for delivering exceptional patient care and has a strong background in laboratory technology.In this role, the Medical Technologist Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, including performing and supervising a variety of laboratory tests and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, including scheduling and assigning tasks to laboratory staff- Perform and supervise a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank- Ensure accuracy and quality control of all laboratory testing and results- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments- Train and mentor laboratory staff on new procedures and protocols- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards- Participate in continuing education and stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the fieldQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field- Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from a recognized accrediting agency- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and instruments- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic health records- Must be able to work flexible hours and on-call as neededWe offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
