Position Summary: Performs routine clinical laboratory analysis. Recognizes problems, identifies basic causes, and makes corrections by using present strategies. Correlates data based on knowledge of technical and instrumental conditions affecting test results. Performs Quality Control (QC) procedures within predetermined parameters. Qualifications: Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology. Experience: Hospital experience preferred. Licensure/ Certification: ASCP Required Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
