Medical Technologist- Per Diem

Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic is looking for a per diem Medical Technologist.

Shift: Dayshift weekends rotating holiday

Responsibilities:

• Train and certify clinical staff on POCT devices
• Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission.
• Oversee instrument performance, troubleshooting and vendor relations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required- ASCP certification preferred- 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred- Strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology

• 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred

• Master's or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences or an appropriately related field (preferred)

• Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP

• With Bachelor's; MT (ASCP) certification or eligible.

• Certified as MT (HEW)

• Certified as MT (AMT)
