Medical Transcriptionist

Pride Health is hiring Medical Transcriptionist to support our client's healthcare facility in White Plains, NY.

Job Details:

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 9:30AM - 6PM

Location: White Plains, NY

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13-Weeks

Pay Range: $20 - $22 Hourly

• Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Transcribe medical/pathology dictations from clinical staff.
• Primarily transcribe gross descriptions and, when required, microscopic diagnoses.
• Enter clinical information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Correct and edit reports according to pathologist instructions.
• Communicate STAT and malignant results verbally to clients.
