Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse work independently and provide direct patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to ensure that you are delivering developmentally appropriate care to my patients. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of my patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and coordinate plan of care
- Assess, monitor, and respond to patient conditions using clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and families with a focus on individualized care
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
- Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Promote a team-oriented environment with strong patient experience focus
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Texas RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Basic EKG course within 1 year of hire
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic computer proficiency
