    Job Description

    Preferred Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative for our Kalamazoo branch. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, kind, courteous, respectful individual with an AMAZING, POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
     
    Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to, the following duties: 
    • Provide exceptional service in person, via phone, or email with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
    • Address and resolve member concerns or complaints promptly.
    • Educate members about our products and services to help them meet their financial goals. 
    • Work closely with team members and other departments to support overall credit union operations and initiatives. 
     
    To be successful in this role you will need the following experience, skills, and attributes: 
    • Prior cash handling and face to face customer service experience, preferred.
    • Experience working in a financial institution is preferred.
    • Strong communication skills verbally and written.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with members and staff.
