Compensation:

• Associate Therapist (AMFT, ACSW, APCC): $40.00/hour
• Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC): $55.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Mental Health Therapist to join a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serving adult women experiencing mental health challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual therapy, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and trauma-informed care. This position is primarily focused on providing individual therapeutic services, with some group facilitation responsibilities.

We welcome both Associate and Licensed Clinicians who are passionate about helping women navigate mental health challenges, trauma, and emotional recovery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Therapist seeking clinical experience and supervision or a Licensed Therapist looking for a consistent part-time opportunity in a supportive treatment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with adult female clients in a PHP/IOP setting.
• Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, clinical evaluations, and intake assessments.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate a limited number of therapeutic groups as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions to support clients' recovery and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation within the KIPU EMR system.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate treatment and monitor client progress.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision as applicable.
• Ensure all clinical services and documentation meet facility standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active California registration or licensure in one of the following disciplines:
• • Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
  • Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
  • Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Strong clinical assessment, individual counseling, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work 24–32 hours weekly across at least 4 days.

Highly Preferred:

• Previous experience providing trauma-informed therapy or working with clients with histories of trauma.
• Experience in a PHP, IOP, residential treatment, or comparable behavioral health setting.
• Familiarity with KIPU EMR and clinical documentation workflows.
• Experience working with adult women and addressing trauma-related mental health concerns.
• Training or experience in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or other trauma-focused approaches.

Compensation

• Associate Clinicians: $40/hour
• Licensed Clinicians: $55/hour
• Clinical supervision included for Associate Therapists.
