Duties
Under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Human Resources, the mentor/substituite principal serves as a master principal assigned to a group of new principals to contact, observe, coach, and mentor on a regular basis; providing information to others; and implementing and maintaining services within established guidelines and standards. The mentor/substitute principal may also be called to serve as administrator in the absence of the building administration.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Employee experiences constant interruptions and inflexible deadlines. The noise level in this environment is quiet to moderate. Duties are performed primarily indoors and occasionally outdoors. In-district and out-of-town travel required as necessary for training and/or to carry out duties and responsibilities.
