Job Description
Manage MEP project scopes from preconstruction through project closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and procurement plans. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams. Oversee installation activities to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance. Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders. Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and contract requirements. Support client relationship management and contribute to repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience managing MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or integrated building systems projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, or manufacturing projects.
- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience managing MEP construction projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control expertise.
- Contract administration and change-order management experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and project controls.
- Familiarity with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with project management and Microsoft Office software.
What's on Offer
Location and Work Arrangement Location: Albany, NY Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite with regular travel to project locations as required. Travel Requirements: Local and regional travel throughout the project territory. Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 per year.
