The Opportunity

On an arena, the MEP package IS the project — the biggest dollars, the longest leads, the tightest coordination, and the systems every future event depends on. Our client, a nationally recognized heavy commercial GC behind some of the West's most recognizable projects, is hiring an MEP Project Manager to lead all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty scopes on a landmark Reno arena — preconstruction through turnover. If you've run MEP on $100M+ complex projects, this is the résumé-defining seat.

What You'll Do

• Lead all MEP scopes from preconstruction through turnover
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and specialty systems
• Manage MEP subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders
• Drive BIM coordination and clash resolution
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning requirements
• Manage procurement schedules for long-lead equipment and critical systems
• Own budgets, forecasts, change orders, and financial performance for MEP scopes
• Collaborate with Project Executives, Superintendents, design teams, and ownership
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and owner turnover

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of MEP project management in commercial construction
• Arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, entertainment, healthcare, or airport project experience
• MEP scope management on $100M+ projects
• Strong command of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation
• GC-side experience preferred; Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related preferred
• Proven leadership of large teams, schedules, budgets, and client relationships
