Description

• Lead all MEP and life-safety construction activities from rough-in through startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and utility installations with overall project sequencing.
• Enforce all safety regulations and maintain a safety-first culture across the jobsite.
• Conduct contractor orientations, field inspections, and quality-control reviews of MEP work.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower levels, productivity, and schedule adherence.
• Assist with look-ahead planning, schedule updates, procurement tracking, and long-lead equipment coordination.
• Resolve field conflicts and collaborate with project leadership to maintain project milestones, budget targets, and owner satisfaction.

Profile

For the MEP Superintendent, we are seeking:

• 5+ years of Superintendent, MEP Superintendent, or MEP field leadership experience within commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or large-scale construction.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems coordination.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors, commissioning activities, and quality-control processes.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and construction schedules.
• Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel and work from project sites as required.
