As a Custodian at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) Facility, you'll play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.In this hands-on position, you'll help keep offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas looking their best through general cleaning, floor care, waste removal, dusting, and window cleaning. Apply today!Education and Experience: Requires an IEP, GED, or high school education or equivalent, with experience in grounds maintenance procedures.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and Material Safety Data Sheets; write simple reports; and speak effectively before customers or management.Instruction and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Physical Demands: Regularly stand and walk; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; and reach with digits, hands, and arms. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds with assistance.
