About This Role:
As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will work closely with the Merchandising team to support the product assortment process. You will serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams, managing product data, processes, and execution to support on-time, successful product launches. This role drives operational excellence by ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency across the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and communicates effectively.
This position is based in San Francisco (we are currently hybrid and come into the office twice a week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized product data for new and carryover items across the PIM system, image libraries, and other cross-functional documentation supporting seasonal assortment plans.
- Coordinate CAD requests with design and maintain associated file organization for product imagery.
- Maintain seasonal line sheets with current product imagery, names, and assortment changes.
- Ensure cross-functional teams have access to accurate product information including pricing, care instructions, images, and launch timing to support successful launches.
- Communicate timing and product updates to internal stakeholders as changes occur.
- Serve as the liaison with marketing and creative teams, including verifying shot lists and aligning on launch timing.
- Build slides presentations and sample displays to support seasonal collections.
- Research market landscape to support pricing strategy.
- Provide general administrative and ad hoc merchandising support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Intermediate proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides.
- Strong structured thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
