Metal Detailer / Assembler - Day Shift

Immediate opportunity for a temporary to hire Metal Detailer/Assembler.  We are looking for a team-oriented individual, has a good attitude and willing to learn.

Pay:   $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Work Schedule:  Mondays to Fridays -  6am – 2:30pm

Job description:

Detailing and de-burring of steel plates and components prior to assembly operations using hand held tools

Setting up and operating manual mills and lathes, as needed, to perform efficient machining operations.

Cut, trim, file, bend and detail parts and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance.

Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations or identities and relationships of parts.

Installing heaters in hot runner manifolds.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

Candidates should have:

Some knowledge of deburring and assembly techniques

Some knowledge of operating manual mills and lathes

Some knowledge of using hand held metal cutting tools

The ability to read blueprints and know shop math
