Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities - Operate and maintain machinery and tools used in metal fabrication, such as welders, grinders, saws, and plasma cutters. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. - Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to project specifications. - Perform welding, bending, and other techniques to fabricate metal parts and structures. - Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications. - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. - Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. - Troubleshoot and repair issues with fabrication equipment as needed. Qualifications & Requirements - Familiarity with commonly used tools and machinery in metal fabrication, including welders, grinders, and cutting equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. - Proficient in welding, cutting, and shaping techniques. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. - Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during fabrication processes. - Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a fabrication environment. - Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues on projects.
