At Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS), we’re partnering with a highly regarded manufacturing leader in the East Columbus, OH area—recognized for growth, equality, and safety—to add a full-time, long-term Materials professional with room to grow.

A day in this role

You arrive for 1st shift at 7:30 am and get a quick overview of inbound steel and copper orders. You’ll stage materials for production, drive a forklift to unload and move heavy loads, and double-check counts for accuracy. Mid-morning, you update inventory in the system, reconcile a cycle count discrepancy, and coordinate with a vendor for an afternoon delivery. You’ll serve as a safe spotter when trucks back into the bay and wrap up by 3:30 pm—overtime as needed. Prefer evenings? A 2nd shift option is available if desired.

What you’ll take on

• Material handling in a job shop setting focused on steel and copper
• Operating forklifts to move, stage, and unload heavy materials
• Cycle counts, sorting, staging, and documenting any damages
• Computer-based data entry and inventory tracking
• Teamwork with internal crews and coordination with vendors
• Serving as a safety spotter when required

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in inventory/warehouse operations within a job shop environment
• Comfort with Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Proven forklift operation skills
• Reliable, safety-first mindset; punctual, collaborative, respectful, and motivated

Schedule & growth

• Full-time, long-term position with advancement potential
• 1st shift: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm with overtime as needed
• 2nd shift available if desired
