The Opportunity: Grow Your Career.

Directs, manages, and coordinates network wide Distribution Services training
strategies. Creates programs based on the strategic and tactical needs of the
organization and ensures compliance with L&D curriculum. Communicates and collaborates cross functionally with Home Office L&D, MarMaxx, Digital, and IE in developing and implementing training curriculum of both a managerial and technical nature. Oversees a team of Training Managers, Training Specialists and Supervisors.

 

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Manages a team of Training Managers across the U.S.
• Partners with the Distribution Network to understand training needs for all levels.
• Works cross divisionally with MarMaxx and Digital to create, develop and implement new training curriculum.
• Collaborates with Global L&D Sr. Leadership team to understand training initiatives globally within the Distribution Network.
• Program lead for the Distribution Services Internship Program.
• Collaborates with Learning and Development on Core Curriculum; scheduling for upcoming quarter, sharing feedback with Distribution Centers.
• Ensures assessment and evaluation mechanisms are in place to measure the effectiveness of training programs/materials.
• Provides feedback to Distribution Center Leadership team on
  performance and development of associate's in training.
• Partners with Distribution Services Sr. Leadership team on development tools.
• Leads, supports, and evaluates tools for the Distribution Centers.
• Network Co-sponsor for the Shrink Committee.
• Manages special projects as assigned.

 

Who We’re Looking For: You.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role, including a minimum of 2 years of management experience 2 years of experience in facilitating groups and training techniques 
• Strong managerial skills
• Knowledge of progressive training practices
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Computer program competency (Microsoft Office 365, iOS, etc.)
• Professional presentation skills
• Planning and organizing ability
• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills

This position has a starting salary range of USD $117,000.00 to $152,100.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
