Job Overview

As the Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, you will lead indirect procurement activities for the Chonburi manufacturing site, supporting plant expansion and business growth. You will build and develop a local procurement team, establish a strong supplier base, drive sourcing strategies, and improve procurement efficiency through process optimization and automation.

Working closely with regional commodity managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure cost competitiveness, supplier performance, and operational excellence while delivering strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple indirect spend categories.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop the indirect sourcing team in Chonburi.
• Support plant start-up, expansion, and business ramp-up activities.
• Develop and manage local supplier sourcing strategies.
• Drive supplier consolidation and cost optimization initiatives.
• Improve procurement efficiency through digitalization and PO automation.
• Own indirect procurement processes and governance.
• Partner with APAC commodity managers on regional sourcing projects.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Deliver savings, quality, service, and risk management objectives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, finance, HR, and operations teams.

Job Requirements

1.Education

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
• Engineering or Technical background preferred.

2. Experience

• 8+ years of indirect procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong experience in at least two of the following categories:
• MRO
• Facilities
• HR Services
• Spare Parts & Tooling
• Fixtures
• Automation Equipment

3. Skills & Competencies

• Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
• Ability to deliver results in ambiguous situations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of SAP and SRM systems preferred.
• Fluent English communication and negotiation skills.
• Mandarin language capability is an advantage.

• Experience within electronics or industrial manufacturing is highly preferred.
