SUMMARY

The Radiation Therapist safely and accurately delivers a prescribed dose of ionizing radiation to a specific area within the patient according to the physician's prescribed treatment plan. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Must be certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
• Completion of an American Medical Association approved Radiation Therapist training program.
• Experience with Varian Linear Accelerator, Varian MLC, Varian Portal Imaging, and IMPAC Record and Verify System.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
