With an active backlog that includes educational, municipal, and community-focused developments, they are experiencing continued growth and have secured multiple ongoing projects at a community college campus in Poughkeepsie, creating a stable and long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Job Description

• Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee public-sector projects including K-12 schools, community colleges, churches, synagogues, and municipal facilities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
• Lead client meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Review contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and procurement activities.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Work closely with Superintendents to drive field operations and project execution.
• Maintain compliance with public-sector regulations, documentation requirements, and reporting standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
• Proven experience managing public construction projects.
• Strong background in K-12 schools, colleges/universities, churches, synagogues, municipal buildings, or similar institutional projects.
• Knowledge of public bidding procedures, contract administration, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and project planning capabilities.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
