Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design, technical governance, and delivery, translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance architectures.

• Maximize out-of-the-box (OOB) Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform capabilities to address at least 70% of business use cases, minimizing unnecessary customization.

• Evaluate customization versus configuration requirements, including effort, technical complexity, and long-term maintenance impact.

• Define clear and comprehensive solution design flows from inception to deployment.

• Understand complex business processes and translate them into robust technical solutions while aligning stakeholders and technical teams.

• Ensure adherence to Microsoft Dynamics 365 coding standards, plug-in guidelines, and architectural best practices.

• Design secure and scalable integrations between D365 CE and external systems, including ERP systems, Azure, and third-party APIs.

• Establish enterprise-grade security models, including Business Units, Security Roles, Field-Level Security, and Teams, along with compliance frameworks.

• Optimize system performance, resolve database bottlenecks, and ensure scalability in high-volume enterprise environments.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across existing codebases, integrations, and configurations.

• Lead DevOps pipelines and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for automated deployments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.

• Identify architectural risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

• Balance technical quality with business value, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency.

Required Experience and Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience implementing and architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Marketing, along with the Power Platform.

• Proven experience designing large-scale enterprise solutions with a strong focus on maximizing OOB functionality.

• Strong expertise in Azure integrations, Power Automate, Plugins, JavaScript, PCF components, and CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical presentation skills.
