    Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves supporting the firm's employment litigation department, focusing on matters under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and other employment-related statutes.Responsibilities Handle various phases of employment litigation from pleadings through settlement.Appear in court, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.Assist with developing case strategy and maintain regular client communication.Manage discovery, including document review and meet-and-confer efforts.Prepare for and participate in depositions and mediation preparation.Work toward independently managing a caseload of 20+ matters.Perform advanced legal research and analyze case law and statutes.Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation materials.Coordinate with paralegals and support staff for file management.Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and trial preparation.Mentor junior associates and support staff.Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.3 or more years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.Strong drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.Education Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Certifications Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.Strong drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.Benefits Not specified in the source.#J-18808-Ljbffr
