Jefferson Solutions Group is seeking a Mid-Level Contract Specialist to support a federal agency.

This role will be fully remote.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$80,000.00. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to GPO on procurements from cradle to grave, providing high-quality technical writing, project management, and analysis support of the following:

  • Acquisition Strategy

  • Acquisition Plans

  • Market Research Analysis

  • Determination & Findings

  • Justification and Approvals

  • Independent Government Cost Estimates

  • CLIN structure

  • Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans

  • Source Selection Plans

  • Requirements documents (Statement of Work, Performance Work Statement, Statement of Objectives, and Statement of Requirements)

  • Support CORs in contract administration duties to include invoicing, modifications, performance standards, and other procurement-related actions

  • Support CORs with undelivered obligations and contract closeout

  • Support CORs with market research activities including Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Notice (SSN) development

  • Assist with updating COR guidance including template development and explanation

  • Draft written communication to CORs

  • Support scheduling and preparation of agendas, materials, and meeting minutes for meetings with client stakeholders

  • Support records management and the development of effective information management plans, processes, and systems

  • Perform various administrative tasks in support of GPO's procurement operations, such as meeting logistics and minutes/action items, analyze administrative processes and policies for improvement, and develop and implement administrative policies to better support the complex organization

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of professional experience

  • 2-3 years of highly relevant experience working in a Federal Contracting Office or Federal Program Office in a Procurement role

  • Experience working with federal program offices in preparing acquisition packages either via a contracting office or within the program

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials

  • Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing and escalating issues

  • Attention to detail, high standards of excellence, and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully

  • Excellent time management skills, including handling multiple projects simultaneously and on tight timeframes

  • Comfort with public speaking and leading discussions of large groups of people

  • Proficiency with meeting planning, facilitation, and follow-up

  • Strong and forward-thinking problem-solving skills--able to analyze issues, extrapolate implications, develop and recommend alternative approaches and solutions, etc.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
