Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
- Conduct analysis, report financial risk, and advise the government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk.
- Assist with the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives as required.
- Provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to improve current ad hoc or documented business rules.
- Assist in analysis of monthly burn rate analysis, trend analysis, multi-year historical performance.
Experiences:
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Navy Financial Systems including but not limited to: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA) and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
- 4-8 years of providing financial support to a Navy Program is required.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Accounting, or another related field.
