    Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

    Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA — fully on-site Monday through Friday. The role requires 40 hours per week in the office, with some flexibility around start and end times; additional hours toward the preferred 50-hour weekly billable target may be completed remotely.

    Note: This is a must-have qualification role: candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar and have at least 3+ years of litigation experience as a California licensed attorney.

    Job Description

    • Draft written discovery, review discovery responses and document productions, and participate in e-discovery.
    • Draft motions involving discovery disputes, pleading challenges, summary adjudication, and other matters advancing client claims.
    • Prepare for and participate in oral arguments involving discovery disputes, pleading challenges, case management conferences, summary judgment motions, and ex parte requests.
    • Prepare clients for depositions and defend consumer client depositions.
    • Take depositions of percipient witnesses and corporate representatives.
    • Prepare expert witnesses and attend expert depositions.
    • Attend vehicle inspections with expert witnesses.
    • Manage timely reporting and billing for hours worked.
    • Work closely with Partners and Senior Attorneys on aggressive, discovery-driven litigation strategies.
    • Take on increasing responsibility in higher-stakes depositions, trial preparation, and second-chair trial opportunities.
    • Travel within California as needed for court appearances, vehicle inspections, and depositions.

    Qualifications

    • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
    • Active California Bar license and membership in good standing.
    • 3+ years of litigation experience as a California licensed attorney.
    • Genuine interest in consumer protection and representation.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent organization, problem-solving, judgment, and deadline-management abilities.
    • Collaborative, hardworking, adaptable, and committed to professional growth.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.
    • Willingness to learn and apply technology solutions in a paperless environment.
    • Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
    • Willingness to travel within California as needed.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available as appropriate.
