Columbus Catholic Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher for grades 6-8 for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, student growth, and the mission of Catholic education.

Position Responsibilities
The teacher will:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction for students in grades 6-8.
Teach foundational and advanced middle school math concepts, including number sense, ratios and proportions, expressions and equations, geometry, statistics, probability, and pre-algebra.
Help students strengthen their problem-solving, critical-thinking, reasoning, and mathematical communication skills.
Use real-world applications and hands-on learning opportunities to make mathematics meaningful and relevant.
Incorporate Catholic values and teachings throughout the classroom environment.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
Use assessment data to adjust instruction and support student growth.
Maintain a structured, positive, and respectful classroom environment.
Communicate regularly and professionally with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and schoolwide initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, elementary education, middle-level education, or a related field.
Wisconsin teaching license or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure.
Experience teaching mathematics or working with middle school students preferred.
Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics concepts and instructional practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
