Birch Agency is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our team for the 20262027 school year in Cleveland, Ohio.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver engaging science lesson plans aligned with Ohio academic standards and curriculum objectives.

• Teach middle school science concepts through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, projects, and interactive activities.

• Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning.

• Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying academic abilities and learning needs.

• Assess student understanding and monitor academic progress through assignments, classroom activities, and assessments.

• Adjust instructional strategies to address learning gaps and support student achievement.

• Implement effective classroom management strategies and establish clear classroom expectations.

• Incorporate technology and supplemental instructional materials to enhance science instruction.

• Collaborate with school leadership, colleagues, and families to support student learning and development.

• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and academic progress reports.

Qualifications
