Middle School Special Education Teacher – Virginia Special Education Certification

Annandale, Virginia | $45–$55/hour

What you’ll do:
You’ll develop and implement IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction, monitor academic and behavioral progress, and create a structured classroom where middle school students can learn and grow. You’ll also collaborate with families, behavior staff, related-service professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum qualifications for a Provisional Certificate in Special Education at the appropriate middle school level or content area
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and differentiated instruction
• Ability to support students with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Strong classroom and behavior-management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to a compassionate, structured, and respectful learning environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary special education team

Special education experience is preferred but not required.
