Job Description

Title: Middleware CICS System Programmer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12+ months

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support IBM CICS Transaction Server on z/OS.
  • Perform CICS region administration, startup/shutdown, and system monitoring.
  • Configure and maintain CICS regions, SIT/PPT, JCT, and system parameters.
  • Troubleshoot CICS system and transaction-related issues.
  • Support CICS upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and system refreshes.
  • Work with z/OS, JCL, JES2, SMP/E, RACF, and system utilities.
  • Configure and support CICS connectivity with DB2, MQ, VSAM, and other middleware.
