Penmac Staffing is seeking experienced MIG Welders for a full-time opportunity in the Shell Knob, Missouri area. Our client is a national leader in the manufacturing, construction, repair, and installation of commercial boat lifts and marine systems.Multiple positions are available. - Starting Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
- Weekend Shift Available:
- Friday through Sunday
- Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
RequirementsCandidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and work instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to complete required pre-employment screenings
ResponsibilitiesAs a MIG Welder, you will assist in the fabrication and assembly of commercial boat lift and marine system components. Duties may include:
- Welding assemblies according to shop drawings and specifications
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment
- Inspecting completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Using hand tools and fabrication equipment as needed
- Operating a forklift to move materials and finished products
- Following all workplace safety guidelines and procedures
- Assisting with fabrication and production activities as assigned
