MIG Welder

$24.23–$31.84/hour | Day Shift | Sioux Center, IA We're looking for MIG Welders/Fabricators who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and want to put their welding and fabrication skills to use. You'll work with both custom and standard components, using blueprints, measurements, welding fixtures, and your own skills to turn individual pieces into a quality finished product. Responsibilities:MIG weld a variety of metal components, primarily galvanneal and mild steelFabricate components using blueprints, technical drawings, measurements, layout techniques, and welding fixturesAccurately use a tape measure to lay out and fit componentsInspect your work before and after welding to ensure it meets specifications and quality standardsGrind, clean, and finish welds to meet structural and appearance requirements Qualifications:MIG welding experienceAbility to accurately use a tape measureBasic fabrication skills and mechanical aptitudeAbility to read blueprints, or the ability and willingness to develop those skillsUnderstanding of welding quality and good workmanshipStrong attention to detailDependability and a team-oriented approach
