Structural MIG Welder for a first-shift opportunity in a steel fabrication shop in Springdale, PA.
This position focuses on MIG welding structural and miscellaneous steel components used in commercial and industrial construction. Projects may include steel beams, staircases, handrails, railings, and custom steel assemblies.
We are looking for a dependable welder with hands-on MIG experience who takes pride in producing strong, consistent welds and working safely in a fabrication shop environment.

Pay & Overtime- Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Overtime availability and expectations will be discussed during screening.
Schedule- First shift / daytime schedule
- Shop-based position in Springdale, PA
Job Duties- Perform MIG welding on structural steel and miscellaneous fabricated steel components.
- Weld materials used in staircases, handrails, railings, beams, and other steel assemblies.
- Prepare steel surfaces and joints for welding.
- Follow shop instructions, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
- Inspect completed welds for consistency, quality, and proper appearance.
- Assist with material preparation, fitting, grinding, and general fabrication tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements- Previous hands-on MIG welding experience with steel.
- Experience in a welding shop, metal fabrication facility, or similar production environment.
- Ability to produce consistent welds and recognize basic weld quality concerns.
- Familiarity with welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools, and proper PPE.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around steel fabrication equipment.
- Ability to reliably commute to Springdale, PA, for first shift.
- Structural steel fabrication experience and basic blueprint reading skills preferred.
Ideal Candidate- Has experience welding structural steel, heavy steel components, or miscellaneous steel fabrications.
- Has worked on items such as beams, railings, staircases, supports, or similar assemblies.
- Understands proper welding preparation and takes pride in weld quality.
- Is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on fabrication shop.
- Can work effectively with shop fabricators and other welding personnel.
