Role Summary
Highly experienced Endpoint Migration Consultant with deep expertise in planning, leading, and executing large-scale enterprise endpoint transformations using the Quest migration toolset. Proven track record delivering complex migrations involving Active Directory domain consolidations, divestitures, mergers & acquisitions, Microsoft Entra ID transitions, Hybrid AD environments, and cross-forest migrations with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end endpoint migration programs across multiple domains, forests, and tenant environments.
Design and execute Hybrid AD, Entra ID Join, Entra Hybrid Join, and domain-to-domain migration strategies.
Utilize Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) and related Quest technologies for AD, device, profile, and identity migrations.
Develop migration waves, cutover plans, rollback strategies, and business readiness activities.
Assess and remediate dependencies including GPOs, Intune, SCCM/MECM, PKI, VPN, security tooling, application authentication, and profile management.
Drive device migration activities for Windows endpoints, kiosks, shared devices, remote users, and international locations.
Coordinate with infrastructure, security, identity, networking, and application teams to ensure migration readiness.
Manage migration risks, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
Required Experience
Extensive experience with Quest ODM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Group Policy, and Windows endpoint management.
Proven delivery of migrations involving thousands to tens of thousands of endpoints across multiple geographies.
Strong understanding of identity, authentication, conditional access, device compliance, and endpoint security controls.
Experience supporting carve-outs, divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, and tenant separation programs.
