Job Description
A well-established semi-custom production cabinet shop located in Pottstown, PA is seeking a CAD Drafter to join their team. This person will be responsible for preparing project bids and CAD shop drawings for millwork and cabinetry projects for a variety of clients. This position coordinates projects from the initial bidding and estimating process through production and shipment of awarded projects. Job Duties: Communicate with clients, architects, and other project representatives to determine project scope, specifications, and requirements; Visit job sites as necessary to review existing conditions and gather information required for estimating and project development; Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine the scope of work and prepare accurate material takeoffs; Contact vendors and subcontractors to obtain current material, labor, and related costs necessary for project bids.
