Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team, with the opportunity to grow into a Lead Foreman role. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, hands-on experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to lead field operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform mechanical and electrical work, including troubleshooting three-phase and 480V systems.
- Complete welding and fabrication projects using stick and MIG welding techniques.
- Operate boom trucks and cranes, including interpreting load charts and following proper crane signaling procedures.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and equipment specifications.
- Assist with coordinating field operations and eventually take on lead foreman responsibilities overseeing crews and projects.
Requirements:
- Hands-on millwright or industrial mechanical experience, with diesel mechanic experience considered a plus.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience, preferably with three-phase and 480V systems.
- Experience rebuilding and repairing pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic equipment.
- Proficiency in stick and MIG welding, fabrication, and the ability to interpret CAD drawings.
- Boom truck or crane operating experience, including knowledge of crane signals and load charts. NCCCO certification is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel and work out of town as needed. Company truck, hotel accommodations, and meals are provided.
