Mining Engineer

THE ROLE

Are you an underground Mining Engineer seeking a new challenge? We are supporting a fantastic client based in Central US. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing the mine plans, as well as supporting the management team on the operational side of the business.

THE COMPANY

On a day-to-day basis youll be managing the mine advancements, ensuring that the mapping and survey work is completed effectively and safely. As a smaller operating site, youll have the opportunity to work across ventilation, short-range planning and managing limited geotechnical requirements. Youll gain excellent access to the senior management team and ultimately have a real impact on the development of the mine. In addition to the operations, the Mine Engineer will also have the opportunity to work on new mine projects and developments.

THE PERSON

To excel in this role, you'll need a bachelors degree in mining engineering or a related field. Ideally, youll have a year or more in underground mining operations. Proficiency in mine planning and design, coupled with a strong knowledge of federal and state mining regulations, will set you up for success. Your exceptional communication skills will foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your ability to adapt to changing conditions and challenges will be key, reflecting your commitment to upholding safety standards and driving continuous improvement.
