Expected work schedule for the State College Ministry Coordinator:

We offer flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the IFI retreat.

Pay structure for a State College Ministry Coordinator:

IFI provides training in order to equip Ministry Coordinators in personal fundraising. The Ministry Coordinator will develop a team of partners to cover financial needs such as salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and pray for their ministry. A Ministry Coordinator can expect a salary of $28,093 -$87,418 based on experience and other factors.

State College Ministry Coordinator Benefits:

About the area and Responsibilities of a State College Ministry Coordinator:

Penn State University is a very strategic location for international student ministry. It ranks number 19 in the world according to UniRank 2021 and is one of the top 10 largest universities in the United States. There are more than 9,000 international students in State College, which ranks it in the top 15 for international student populations in the United States. This position is part of the State College ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

The State College Ministry Coordinator will:

• Campus Ministry
  • Coordinate cultural activities and trips
  • Participate in an outreach activity such as Bible discussion or friendship partnership
• Establish and maintain church partnerships
• Recruit, match and support volunteers

Qualifications needed from the State College Ministry Coordinator, including Spiritual Characteristics

The Ministry Coordinator must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The Ministry Coordinator must be a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally by mobilizing Christians to effectively communicate the Gospel in the context of various cultures.

Education/Experience Preferred for State College Ministry Coordinator:

• Minimum of Bachelor and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people
• Demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people
• Cross-cultural ministry experience, preferred
