Job Description
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and cost forecasts. Coordinate closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule, quality, and safety expectations. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, documentation, and project reporting. Lead communication between clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and other construction documents. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners. Identify project risks early and develop solutions that keep projects moving forward. Monitor project financial performance while maintaining client satisfaction. Support and mentor Assistant Project Managers and other developing team members.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Mixed Commercial Project Manager should have: 5+ years of Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor. Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents. Strong knowledge of coordination between owners, architects, contractors, and trade partners. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management platforms preferred. Construction Management, Engineering, or related education preferred. Field construction experience is a plus.
