SUMMARY:
Salary: $45,518.26 - $85,857.57
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises students, teachers, and educational technicians.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS/BA Degree; exemplary teaching experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Teaching Certificate and endorsements.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information effectively, and to respond to questions from individuals and groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program; ability to plan and implement lessons based on department and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents. Skilled in oral and written communication. Has a thorough command of a specific content area, and has broad-based knowledge in other curriculum areas. Is an attentive listener and communicator who can develop strategies for the learning community around the change process.
