What You'll Do
- Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel truck engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals
- Execute both scheduled and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards
- Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support repair and maintenance tasks
- Communicate clearly with customers, providing detailed service recommendations and updates
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities
- Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery
- Stay current on industry advancements and apply expertise to improve repair processes
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of hands-on equipment repair experience
- Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools and service manuals
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings
- Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job
- Capability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role)
- Ability to pass background checks
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (e.g., Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, etc.)
- Experience with field service or mobile repair
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven customer-facing experience or project leadership on job sites
