Mobile HVAC Technician

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile HVAC Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on large commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities. The technician will travel between assigned facilities, document work orders, respond to emergency service calls, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshootings, and repairs on large commercial HVAC systems, including 30-, 40-, and 50-ton units.
• Services rooftop/package units, air handlers, boilers, and chillers.
• Troubleshoots basic electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues.
• Conducts facility inspections and complete maintenance work orders.
• Documents repairs and maintenance using CMMS/work-order systems.
• Travels between multiple commercial facilities within the assigned territory.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests and participate in rotating on-call coverage.
• Works independently while prioritizing service needs across multiple locations.

Work Set Up/Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift 7:00 AM, with rotating on-call coverage

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC or building maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with large commercial HVAC equipment, including 30-50-ton units.
• Universal EPA Section 608 certification.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on ladders at heights up to 30 feet.
• Willingness to travel, work in varying environments, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Chiller and building automation system experience.
• CMMS/work-order management experience.
• Technical or trade school training.
• Mobile commercial facilities maintenance or military HVAC experience.
