 Daily Schedule & Pay
A typical workday is 10 hours, consisting of:
- 8 hours paid at your hourly rate of $16.90 (CA overtime rules apply)
- 1 unpaid meal break (1 hour)
- 1 additional hour (the 9th hour) paid at time‑and‑a‑half

Grooming Performance Bonus
-In addition to hourly wages, you may receive a daily performance bonus based on van revenue from grooming services.

Bonus Structure:
Van Revenue: 
- $650 --> 5% additional Performance Bonus
- $750 --> 10% additional Performance Bonus
- $850 --> 15% additional Performance Bonus
- $950 --> 20% additional Performance Bonus
 
- Bonuses are calculated on gross service charges before discounts and do not include tips. 
- Tips belong entirely to you and are not used to satisfy minimum-wage requirements.


Responsibilities


At Bark & Mane we care for the business so that you can focus on the pets! 

• Focus on providing luxury one-on-one care to dogs and sometimes cats daily while working independently in our grooming vans. 
• Enjoy the ongoing support of our in-house concierge and fleet teams that handle scheduling and van maintenance/cleaning so you can groom. 
• Fall in love with grooming with a manageable daily schedule while focusing on safety and quality with every appointment. 

Requirements

• No degree is required; we are looking for groomers with experience, a good attitude, and ability to work independently.
