Role: Mobility Architect - Native Android

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Salary range: $150K-$200K PA

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

We are seeking an experienced Native Android Architect to lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate will define technical direction, establish best practices, mentor engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions.

• 12+ years of software development experience with 8+ years in native Android (Kotlin) development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin with deep understanding of Android SDK.
• Extensive experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack libraries, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and Dependency Injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger).
• xperience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile security, encryption and secure storage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc.,
• Expertise performance Eligible to workimization, memory management, and debugging.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering tools to drive developer efficiency, automation, and innovation across the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall architecture for native Android applications.
• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions using Kotlin, JetPack Compose.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and mobile engineering best practices.
• Architect secure and high-performance mobile applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, backend teams, and enterprise architects.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Drive automation, testing strategies, and release management.
• Mentor and guide Android developers and technical leads.
• Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, performance, and App Store guidelines.
